Job Description: 
“Senior Enterprise Software Developer”

Candidate and Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be well organized, determined, and detail oriented. He or
she will possess strong follow-through capabilities, will be dependable and will be able
to handle rapidly changing priorities. This position involves design, development, testing,
and documentation of software solutions using Microsoft development technologies. In
addition to monitoring and supporting production applications Software Developers at
Switch Commerce work on complex projects and are responsible for completing tasks on
time that meet established business and functional requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop applications in all layers of the enterprise.
• Develop iOS (iPhone & iPad) and Android mobile applications.
• Participate in system architecture planning meetings.
• Create SDLC documents including requirement and design specifications ensuring that all business and functional requirements are captured.
• Code and implement solutions based on SDLC specifications.
• Execute thorough and complete unit, integration, and regression testing
• Maintaining .NET 3.5 and 4.0 framework applications and websites.
• Converting VB6 components to .NET in C#.
• Tracking changes and enhancements at all stages of the SDLC with BugTracker and SVN.
• Provide occasional 24×7 administrative technical support to ensure continuous uptime processing operations.
• Collaborate with customer support and other developers on simultaneous projects.
• Support and maintain existing and new applications.
• Establish standards, controls, and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
• Effective written and oral communications with peers, supervisors and management.

Skills and Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of seven years experience in the following:
•Extensive knowledge of Microsoft software development technologies and strategies including but not limited to: C#, ASP.Net, AJAX, Web Services, XML, and OOD.
• Strong knowledge in application framework construction.
• Strong knowledge in patterns from Gang of Four and the Fowler Series.
• Extensive experience developing applications for smartphone mobile devices iOS (iPhone & iPad) and Android a plus.
• Working experience developing applications that use TCP/IP.
• Working knowledge of Windows Communication Foundation.
• Possess the ability to work with MS SQL Server up to developing stored procedures of moderate complexity.
• Experience in all phases of the SDLC.
• Experience working on large, complex, enterprise-spanning projects.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams.
• Possess the ability to work independently or in groups and on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience following strict auditing standards such as PCI, SAS70, TR30, SOX, or HIPPA is a plus.
• Experience in IIS, SSL, AD, MSMQ, SSRS are pluses.
• Experience in Visual Basic 6 a big plus (Legacy only).
• Working knowledge of MS operating systems and development environments.
• Experience in the financial transaction processing industry a very big plus.

Education Requirements:
• a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
